  1. Cairns Esplanade
    Along this long stretch you’ll find so much to do with kids. Let them splash and play in Cairns Lagoon; a 4800sq metre salt water swimming facility that is open all year round. Entry to the lagoon is free.
    Then there’s Muddy’s playground with interactive water play areas, flying fox, sound chimes, track ride, rope bridge, play house, slides and more! You’ll find barbecue and picnic facilities as well as an onsite café.

  2. Paronella Park
    Explore the beautiful gardens of Paronella Park! Located at Mena Creek, this enchanting place provides the perfect opportunity for exploration.  Take the 45 minute guided tour and learn all about Jose Paronella’s vision that led to the creation of the park.

  3. Mamu Tropical Skywalk
    Enjoy the birds-eye views as you walk amongst the treetops of Wooroonooran National Park. The Mamu Tropical Skywalk offers panoramic views over the scenic World Heritage listed rainforest.

  4. Birdworld Kuranda
    The kids will love this interactive bird zoo, with over 400 birds from 75 exotic species. See the endangered cassowary, the amazing Amazonian macaws, galahs, cockatoos and rainbow lorikeets. There’s also the chance to hand-feed various birds and get your photo taken.

  5. Breakfast with the Koalas at Hartleys Crocodile Andventures!
    Enjoy a cooked breakfast as you take in the views from Lilies Restaurant deck overlooking Hartley’s Lagoon, all in the company of some special koala friends! Experienced wildlife keepers will deliver an informative presentation and you’ll also have the chance to get your photo taken with a koala (optional extra).   8. Cairns ZOOM & Wildlife Dome
    This is a great option in any weather, the wildlife exhibit is housed with a  fully enclosed glass dome atop of the Reef Hotel Casino. See birds, turtles, pythons and crocodiles, watch shows and presentations or take on a dome climb!
